Hi I'm Dr. Willey!

I'm a therapist, coach & writer, and someone who knows what it’s like to care deeply, feel stretched thin, and still hold space for others.

I work with high-achieving professionals, helpers, and neurodivergent folks who are navigating compassion fatigue, burnout, and the hidden costs of showing up for everyone else.

Over the years, I’ve sat with people who are incredibly competent and emotionally attuned — but still overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from their own needs. Maybe that sounds familiar. If it does, you’re in the right place.

My Approach

My work blends trauma-informed therapy, EMDR, somatic practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work, and self-compassion. Whether I’m supporting clients clinically or through coaching, my approach is always collaborative, non-pathologizing, and deeply respectful of your pace and your values.

What I Believe

I believe healing doesn’t always mean digging into the deepest wounds. Sometimes it looks like reconnecting to your goals, your body, your boundaries, or your purpose — gently, with support.

I also believe your work and wellbeing don’t have to be at odds. You can do meaningful work and protect your nervous system. You can lead others and tend to yourself.

Beyond the Work

I’m also someone who has walked through burnout, overfunctioning, and the "shoulds" that pull us away from our truth. I bring that lived experience into the work I do — along with warmth, curiosity, and humor (when it helps).

Thanks for being here. If you’re ready to explore healing in a way that honors you, I’d be honored to walk with you.

Hey! I'm Brie-Anna Willey

I’m a therapist, coach, and writer who works with helpers, high-achievers, and neurodivergent folks navigating burnout, compassion fatigue, and the quiet toll of caring deeply. I blend clinical training with lived experience — including my own journey through overfunctioning, identity shifts, and healing — to support clients in reconnecting with themselves. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that healing doesn’t have to mean endlessly unpacking the past — sometimes, it means rediscovering hope, boundaries, and your next right step. Whether I’m offering therapy, coaching, or writing, my goal is always the same: to hold space that honors your story, your pace, and your potential.
